“Tribute” is a circus and theater performance inspired by the prose of Isaac Bashevis Singer. Half-jokingly, as the Nobel Prize winner used to write, with juggling, acrobatics and other circus disciplines, a story is told. Story about the timeless dilemmas of “The Magician”, about ghosts, about what disappeared suddenly and irretrievably in “The Great Catastrophe”. However, human weaknesses, fears, hopes and joys are still the same and this is what this performance is about.
The musical setting of the show is not accidental. Lou Reeda, Amy Winehouse, The Ramones, Leonard Cohen, Lenny Kravitz, Bob Dylan are artists for whom their Jewish origin was important, they drew inspiration from it, using heritage or rebelling against it. These musicians are strongly bonded with, artists in the performance and singer Jasza Mazura. They share the fact of being “trickmasters”, with the benefits and nightmares of this profession.

It is a story about searching for your own way, about circus and about the artists themselves who present the viewer with the meaning of chasing dreams. Above all, however, it is a show of the amazing skills of the performers woven into the plot.
Juggling, dancing in the air, acrobatics, object manipulation and equlibristics allow the viewer to absorb what is happening on the stage. The quintet that makes up the performance takes viewers to a world where anything can happen.
The work was inspired by Shaun Tan’s book “The lost thing”, which tells about something that has been lost, but also – above all – found.
The structure of the performance mirrors the reflection on the organism in its biological and social sense. It was the organism that inspired research in the field of movement, movement dynamics and quality, and became a source of questions about the nature of the cause-and-effect relationship. All of this is recorded in the performance.
On stage, apart from various forms of movement, you can see ground and air acrobatics, juggling and optical illusion.

The viewer is transferred to the abstract world of shapes and things. With their help, the actors create an atmosphere of a grotesque universe of images.
In 2018 „Spektrum” has been accepted to the prestigious Teatr Polska program (http://www.teatrpolska.pl/) organized by one of Poland’s most renown theatrical institutions -The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute (http://en.instytut-teatralny.pl/).
